As per India Today website, The Central Board of Secondary Education is set to announce the results of Class 10 and Class 12 Board exams by next week. This year about 1373853 students appeared for the class 10 board examination. It is noted that in 2014, about 98.87 percentage of students manages to qualify the exam. This time also it should be around the same, everyone has worked hard to secure maximum number of marks to get a edge over others.

CBSE Board Class 10th Results 2015:  How is CGPA Calculated in CBSE Board?
Since the CBSE Class 10th results 2015 is ecpected to announce by 25th May 2015. One of the important one out of those is how is the CGPA calculated or say how to calculate percentage of marks on basis of CGPA.

Cumulative Grade Points Average (CGPA) is the average of grade points secured by a student in all subjects as per scheme of studies. Well, the CGPA will be written on the results and to calculate CGPA you should follow the following steps.

For example:
GP for Subject 1 is 8
GP for Subject 2 is 10
GP for Subject 3 is 10
GP for Subject 4 is 8
GP for Subject 5 is 10

Then the sum of all GPs will be: 9 + 9 + 8 + 10 + 7.5 =43.5
Dividing 43.5 by 5, we get 8.7 that's your CGPA

To find percentage of marks simply multiply CGPA with 9.5

9.5*CGPA: 82.65

To find subject wise percentage of marks

9.5* GP of subject
